SK Sturm's Dustin Arnold got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Henning Huthreuter blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Markus Weber having to make a save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Benjamin Demmel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dustin Arnold fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Demmel having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SK Sturm had won after a very even match.
