A collision led to Hausheim FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Gordon Schreiber hit a great ball. Andreas Waschke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Klösters having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Henning Huthreuter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Schildorn's supporters rose to their feet, but Henning Huthreuter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robin Klösters breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Robin Klösters took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Waschke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Schildorn's goal looked a bit too open when Uli Schreyer came free, but Benjamin Demmel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Schildorn's Erik Jancker got a free kick in the 29th minute. Benjamin Demmel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascal Sonntag, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. The supporters of Schildorn booed when Hausheim FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerrit-Alexander Axten didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benjamin Demmel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uli Schreyer in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Uli Schreyer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes, Hubert Volkmer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hausheim FC and the Schildorn players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 57th match minute, Hausheim FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hubert Volkmer to maneuver through the defense. Hausheim FC's Robin Klösters played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Waschke in the 58th minute of play. Pascal Sonntag received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Benjamin Demmel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the game, Gerrit-Alexander Axten was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hausheim FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Schildorn the free kick. In the 70th match minute, Hausheim FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerrit-Alexander Axten to maneuver through the defense. Schildorn's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pascal Sonntag was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Hausheim FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
