The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Falko Krammer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mondscheiner's Fabian Sülzner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Mondscheiner from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Schildorn's zone, Joachim Payer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Demmel came out of the goal and Joachim Payer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Wolfram Brückler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Despite being the better team, Mondscheiner failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
