Kleinreith's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Klaus Frommermann scored to the left of an out of position Niclas Ruhnau, making the score, 1-0. Niclas Ruhnau was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Sven Pöck capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sven Pöck really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. When Sven Pöck came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Krottenthal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven Pöck couldn't finish the play. Klaus Frommermann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Niclas Ruhnau made a huge save. Sven Pöck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niclas Ruhnau having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The wind increased when Sven Pöck made the kick off in the second half. Christopher Reinoehl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Justin Seiler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven Pöck in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niclas Ruhnau saved Kleinreith from getting behind. 62 minutes into the match, Kleinreith's goal looked a bit too open when Sven Pöck came free, but Niclas Ruhnau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Sven Pöck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niclas Ruhnau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tim Reiman in the 68th minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Klaus Frommermann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Klaus Frommermann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wolfgang-Bernd Petermann during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Krottenthal fully deserved thier win.
