An unexpectedly hard shot by Joshua Herzog in the 26th minute of play forced Alpi76's goalkeeper Claus Nacke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frank-Dieter Lederer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darius Knoke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thorsten Abendroth in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frank-Dieter Lederer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Frank Cartus came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Alpi76 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Cartus couldn't finish the play. Frank Cartus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes into the game, Luis Pütz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ♣®♣ F.C. STEAUA BUC ♣®♣'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alpi76 the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Cartus got free with Frank-Dieter Lederer in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 52 minutes into the match, ♣®♣ F.C. STEAUA BUC ♣®♣'s goalkeeper Frank-Dieter Lederer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Cartus. Claus Nacke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Limper in the 58th minute of the match. Frank-Dieter Lederer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thorsten Abendroth in the 63rd minute of play. With an all-out effort, Alpi76's Frank-Dieter Lederer threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Thorsten Abendroth, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 71 minutes, Frank Cartus made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. ♣®♣ F.C. STEAUA BUC ♣®♣'s Frank-Dieter Lederer tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Frank-Dieter Lederer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Cartus in the 74th minute. Tony Teerbau kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match.
