SV Mauerkirchen's Michel Rühmann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save SV Mauerkirchen from getting a goal against them. SV Mauerkirchen's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sebastian Siekkötter in the 18th minute. In the 25th minute, Kai Lauterwasser hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that André Kern's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Michel Rühmann was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Michel Rühmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralf-Willy Kontny, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robin Zirwes was the one to do the kick off. SV Mauerkirchen's Robin Zirwes got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When André Kern came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the FC Antharing fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that André Kern couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralf-Willy Kontny in the 61st minute of play forced SV Mauerkirchen's goalkeeper Michel Rühmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michel Rühmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Kern in the 63rd minute of the match. When Roland Rothschild fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Antharing's protests and gave Roland Rothschild a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of SV Mauerkirchen booed when FC Antharing was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roland Rothschild didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ralf-Willy Kontny recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicolai Ozabiner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Michel Rühmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. André Kern blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Michel Rühmann having to make a save. In the 82nd minute, Hans-Peter Aufhauser hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th match minute, SV Mauerkirchen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans-Peter Aufhauser to maneuver through the defense. 96 minutes into the match, SV Mauerkirchen's Robin Zirwes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nils Leibel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. SV Mauerkirchen were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over FC Antharing's much stronger midfield.
