Nils Leibel made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Roland Geiß sent off a good shot on target. In the 8th minute, Mark-André Becker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 9 played minutes FC Antharing got a freekick which was hit by André Kern. Sascha Kainzner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Kern, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. If Roland Geiß had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When FC Antharing's André Kern in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Sammy's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice moves Roland Geiß could shoot a difficult shot in the 18th minute, which Nils Leibel however easily saved by the left post. Dominik Mühlenbruch kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Kern in the 24th minute of play forced FC Sammy's goalkeeper Sascha Kainzner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sascha Kainzner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Kern in the 26th minute of the match. Ralf-Willy Kontny made in the 30th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Sammy's Peter Sprenger. Roland Geiß took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nils Leibel. Nils Leibel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, FC Sammy's Dominik Mühlenbruch got a free kick in the 34th minute. Roland Geiß's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 37thth minute, Nils Leibel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Manuel Strobel made in the 38th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Sammy's Dominik Mühlenbruch. Roland Geiß could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Nils Leibel made a huge save. Roland Geiß received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Nils Leibel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Roland Geiß came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the FC Sammy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roland Geiß couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roland Geiß was the one to do the kick off. André Kern kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Nils Leibel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Geiß in the 69th minute of the match. Nils Leibel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wolf Schlode, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mark-André Becker hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roland Geiß in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nils Leibel saved FC Antharing from getting behind. The throw-in from Sascha Göring in the 86th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Sammy's Peer Lechtenberg. A sloppy throw-in by Sascha Göring in the 87th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Sammy's Peer Lechtenberg. André Kern took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sascha Kainzner. Sascha Kainzner dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1.
