The crowd rose to their feet as FC Pfunds's Gabriel Hellmann slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Malte Breitner. That made the score 2-0 after 16 minutes of play. Ralf Brümmer took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Malte Breitner. Malte Breitner dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 23rdth minute of the game Dennis-Sven Tuters who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Maria Schmolln's Malte Breitner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ralf Brümmer made a great header on FC Pfunds's corner, it was just that FC Maria Schmolln's Malte Breitner managed to reach the ball for a save. Ralf Brümmer struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Malte Breitner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Pfunds. Sebastian Karneil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thomas Vanek during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Thomas Vanek hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Malte Breitner was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the FC Maria Schmolln defense, Ralf Brümmer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Malte Breitner. The FC Maria Schmolln fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Malte Breitner should have stopped the shot. Malte Breitner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ralf Brümmer in the 46th minute of the match. Dennis-Sven Tuters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Bastian Zensen's late challenge caught a FC Pfunds's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bastian Zensen helped the player get up and apologised. Bastian Zensen kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Ralf Brümmer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Malte Breitner read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. In the 76th minute Sebastian Karneil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Malte Breitner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Hellmann scored 6-0 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Malte Breitner, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
