Marlon Erl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sascha Gladbach having to interfere. In the 29th minute Valentin Payer suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 29 minutes, Patrik Zimmermann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brotjäger Juniors and the Grinzing FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 29 played minutes Brotjäger Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Patrik Zimmermann. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dustin Rösen to make the kick off. If Dustin Rösen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eric Polzer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sascha Gladbach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andy Traintinger in the 59th minute of play. Sascha Gladbach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dustin Rösen in the 60th minute of the match. In the 65thth minute of the game Dustin Rösen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grinzing FC's Sascha Gladbach was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sascha Gladbach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eric Polzer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sascha Gladbach didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Brotjäger Juniors's Dustin Rösen shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Eric Polzer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Sascha Gladbach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erik Schumacher lost his temper 79 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Sascha Gladbach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Brütt, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Grinzing FC's zone, Hamdi Akartürk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sascha Gladbach came out of the goal and Hamdi Akartürk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sascha Gladbach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Brütt in the 90th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dustin Rösen in the 91st minute of play forced Grinzing FC's goalkeeper Sascha Gladbach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vilhelm Fagrell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roy Bartek in the 93rd minute of play. A collision led to Brotjäger Juniors getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. Andy Traintinger hit a great ball. When the referee ended the match the Brotjäger Juniors players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
