The referee ignored FC Underdoog's protests and gave Jan Witzke a yellow card for diving instead. After 3 played minutes FC Underdoog got a freekick which was hit by Jan Witzke. Maik Heise didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ralf Krammer went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. A hard shot by Albrecht Kronlachner from long distance, 16 minutes into the match, got Elias Schneidereit's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 16 played minutes Freihaus Wien got a freekick which was hit by Ulf Zach. Maik Heise made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raphael Göschl in the 18th minute of play. Raphael Göschl scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maik Heise, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Elias Schneidereit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolf Mairitsch, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Elias Schneidereit showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Feiert in the 31st minute of the match. The nice shot from Fabian Feiert in the 33rdth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Elias Schneidereit had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Fabian Feiert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jan Witzke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Elias Schneidereit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maik Heise showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raphael Göschl in the 46th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Marc Stallberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabian Feiert made a kick off. Fabian Feiert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Elias Schneidereit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tim Bach made in the 58th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Raphael Göschl. FC Underdoog's Maik Heise played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ralf Krammer in the 62nd minute of play. Sebastian Balser struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Elias Schneidereit didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Underdoog. Fabian Feiert blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elias Schneidereit having to make a save. Fabian Feiert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Elias Schneidereit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Although FC Underdoog had been in control for most of the match, Freihaus Wien still came away with the win.
