Benjamin Thielscher hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute, Benjamin Thielscher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 8 minutes into the match, Wienerberg's Hansjörg Erkeling broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Albrecht Haberer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Arne Meier sped through Wienerberg's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Peer Münks. In the 18th minute, Arne Meier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tommi Kardell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peer Münks took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andre Kirchler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tommi Kardell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st minute Tommi Kardell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Kopp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wienerberg's goalkeeper Peer Münks, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 46th minute, Arne Meier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tommi Kardell to strike the kick off in the second half. Peer Münks took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arne Meier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Wienerberg's zone, Arne Meier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peer Münks came out of the goal and Arne Meier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arne Meier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peer Münks having to interfere. Tommi Kardell might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabio Kopp. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tommi Kardell ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 76th match minute, Hammerstadt FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Thielscher to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Fabio Kopp managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Wienerberg's Albrecht Haberer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Fabio Kopp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommi Kardell in the 80th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommi Kardell in the 82nd minute of play forced Hammerstadt FC's goalkeeper Fabio Kopp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Andre Kirchler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Albrecht Haberer came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Wienerberg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albrecht Haberer couldn't finish the play.
