Spectators: 7776 (Terracing: 5833, Seating: 1788, VIP seats: 155) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Arno Pahlke got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to FC Gampern getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Jonas Rathmann hit a great ball. 8 minutes into the match, Juventus Turin's Arno Pahlke sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sönke Artmaier narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 10th minute Tibor Neoral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sönke Artmaier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Gampern's Leon Frings got a free kick in the 12th minute. Sönke Artmaier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arno Pahlke, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Gernot Damm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jörn Diel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Max Lapczinski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jörn Diel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel-Benjamin Polskis in the 24th minute of play. Arno Pahlke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Sönke Artmaier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gernot Damm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gernot Damm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Juventus Turin's goalkeeper Jörn Diel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Joel-Benjamin Polskis was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 86th minute. FC Gampern's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Max Lapczinski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
