With his leg Jan-Erik Pötscher managed to avoid a goal in the 47thth minute, when Wienerberg's Albrecht Haberer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Peer Münks showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hansjörg Ozabiner in the 52nd minute of the match. Andre-Yann Kehl hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Jan-Erik Pötscher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommi Kardell in the 93rd minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Wienerberg players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
