Spectators: 6775 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Andre Kirchler started the match with the kick off. Arne Meier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Erik Pötscher having to interfere. 7 minutes into the match, Brenndorf's goal looked a bit too open when Arne Meier came free, but Jan-Erik Pötscher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 9 minutes into the game, Hammerstadt FC's Andre Kirchler nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jan-Erik Pötscher made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Jan-Erik Pötscher stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andre Kirchler's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Arne Meier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Andre Kirchler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hammerstadt FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Andre Kirchler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan-Erik Pötscher breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arne Meier in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan-Erik Pötscher prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 40 minutes into the match, Brenndorf's goal looked a bit too open when Arne Meier came free, but Jan-Erik Pötscher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Arne Meier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Brenndorf defense, Arne Meier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan-Erik Pötscher. The Brenndorf fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan-Erik Pötscher should have stopped the shot.

Andre Kirchler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brenndorf's Jan-Erik Pötscher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andre Kirchler in the 55th minute of play. If Hansjörg Ozabiner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arne Meier in the 65thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jan-Erik Pötscher, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Karl-Heinz Reim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Hansjörg Ozabiner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 75th minute, Brenndorf's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Arne Meier fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Jan-Erik Pötscher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andre Kirchler in the 76th minute of the match. Andre Kirchler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hansjörg Ozabiner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Brenndorf's zone, Arne Meier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan-Erik Pötscher came out of the goal and Arne Meier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arne Meier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Jan-Erik Pötscher made a huge save. If Andre Kirchler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd match minute, Brenndorf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Frederik Kronlachner to maneuver through the defense. Andre Kirchler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Brenndorf's Phillip Meling got a free kick in the 96th minute. In the 99th minute Hansjörg Ozabiner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Kopp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Hammerstadt FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Brenndorf throughout the match.
