Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Marcel Schennach made the kick off and thus started the match. Louis Weinstok fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karsten Eggenfeld having to interfere. In the 7th minute Philipp Wendt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karsten Eggenfeld saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Prossegg FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Kai Rockstein hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Philipp Wendt in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karsten Eggenfeld prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Philipp Wendt came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Fortuna United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Philipp Wendt couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Prossegg FC's zone, Philipp Wendt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karsten Eggenfeld came out of the goal and Philipp Wendt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Louis Weinstok recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Philipp Wendt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Prossegg FC's Peter Schreyer got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Philipp Wendt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Karsten Eggenfeld tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jan-Oliver Reinhard fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Prossegg FC's protests and gave Jan-Oliver Reinhard a yellow card for diving instead. Jörg Schmidhuber kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the game, Peter Schreyer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Prossegg FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fortuna United the free kick. In the 40th minute, Peter Schreyer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karsten Eggenfeld made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Louis Weinstok in the 45th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Philipp Wendt to strike the kick off in the second half. If Philipp Wendt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karsten Eggenfeld showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Philipp Wendt, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 65th minute Philipp Wendt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karsten Eggenfeld saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute, Louis Weinstok got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Karsten Eggenfeld made an important save on a dangerous shot by Louis Weinstok in the 73rd minute. Karsten Eggenfeld stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Philipp Wendt's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Karsten Eggenfeld was a little too slow when Philipp Wendt got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 0-1. When Philipp Wendt came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Fortuna United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Philipp Wendt couldn't finish the play. If Louis Weinstok had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Prossegg FC's Karsten Eggenfeld played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Philipp Wendt in the 91st minute of play. Louis Weinstok struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Karsten Eggenfeld didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fortuna United. With an all-out effort, Fortuna United's Karsten Eggenfeld threw himself towards the right post 96 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Philipp Wendt, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Prossegg FC's Marcel Schennach got a free kick in the 97th minute. The Prossegg FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Fortuna United were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
