Alex Schröder stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julius-Lasse Paschmanns's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Manfred Mauderer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Niels Wimmer made a huge save. SFV MARIA ELLEND's Niels Wimmer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save SFV MARIA ELLEND from getting a goal against them. After 25 played minutes Podgora FC got a freekick which was hit by Gerhard Geiblinger. 26 minutes into the game, Mario Vanek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Alex Schröder was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manfred Mauderer in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Niels Wimmer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Günter Albermann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute, Tobias Wittrock hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Podgora FC's Niels Wimmer threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Günter Albermann, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in SFV MARIA ELLEND's zone, Günter Albermann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niels Wimmer came out of the goal and Günter Albermann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Steffen Dove charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Steffen Dove the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Steffen Dove hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mario Vanek made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerhard Terwester in the 56th minute of play forced SFV MARIA ELLEND's goalkeeper Niels Wimmer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute, Gerhard Geiblinger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to SFV MARIA ELLEND getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Tobias Wittrock hit a great ball. Günter Albermann struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Niels Wimmer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Podgora FC. Niels Wimmer came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Podgora FC's Günter Albermann. But to his dismay, Günter Albermann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Manfred Mauderer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Niels Wimmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 65 played minutes SFV MARIA ELLEND got a freekick which was hit by Jörg Schachner. 66 minutes into the match, Podgora FC's Günter Albermann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Niels Wimmer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Podgora FC's Manfred Mauderer in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SFV MARIA ELLEND's goalie prevented a goal. In the 78th minute, Günter Albermann made a precise shot to the right of Niels Wimmer. SFV MARIA ELLEND's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind SFV MARIA ELLEND's goalkeeper Niels Wimmer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gerhard Geiblinger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manfred Mauderer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niels Wimmer having to interfere. Günter Albermann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to SFV MARIA ELLEND getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Jörg Schachner hit a great ball. Günter Albermann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Niels Wimmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niels Wimmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Günter Albermann in the 93rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 100th minute, Julius-Lasse Paschmanns managed to get in a good position for a shot. SFV MARIA ELLEND's supporters rose to their feet, but Julius-Lasse Paschmanns was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alex Schröder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
