After 13 played minutes Podgora FC got a freekick which was hit by Gerhard Geiblinger. Alex Schröder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kim Moser, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Günter Albermann in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Steffen Sudhoff saved Oeblarn FC from getting behind. Kim Moser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Alex Schröder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Oeblarn FC's zone, Günter Albermann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Steffen Sudhoff came out of the goal and Günter Albermann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Niko Glockner kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Günter Albermann in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Steffen Sudhoff prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Oeblarn FC's Steffen Sudhoff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manfred Mauderer in the 33rd minute of play. If Manfred Mauderer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adrian Grösch to make the kick off. Oeblarn FC's Steffen Sudhoff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manfred Mauderer in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute, Manfred Mauderer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Podgora FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 63rdth minute of the game Günter Albermann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oeblarn FC's Steffen Sudhoff was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 65th minute of the match Patrik Michel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Steffen Sudhoff showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Steffen Sudhoff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manfred Mauderer in the 69th minute of play. Manfred Mauderer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Steffen Sudhoff read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. After 75 minutes, Steffen Ebert mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oeblarn FC and the Podgora FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 76 played minutes Oeblarn FC got a freekick which was hit by Steffen Ebert. Günter Albermann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steffen Sudhoff having to interfere. Günter Albermann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Manfred Mauderer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Steffen Sudhoff was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. After 96 played minutes Podgora FC got a freekick which was hit by Robin Fortuna.
