Sönke Beckert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sascha-Andreas Weites having to interfere. Marius Post received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Sascha-Andreas Weites tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rouven Felgenhauer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Bastian Fink tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Stefan Meuleners reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bastian Fink. The goal made the score 1-0. Sascha-Andreas Weites showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sönke Beckert in the 26th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in NK Goal fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 33rd minute. Penalty! Stefan Meuleners recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sönke Beckert to strike the kick off in the second half. Bastian Fink stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stefan Meuleners's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. SK Rapid Wien's Bastian Fink played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Meuleners in the 56th minute of play. Rouven Felgenhauer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Bastian Fink tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rouven Felgenhauer scored 2-1 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bastian Fink, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Stefan Meuleners managed to get in a good position for a shot. NK Goal's supporters rose to their feet, but Stefan Meuleners was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bastian Fink breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Marius Post had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, SK Rapid Wien's Tobi Gilgen got a free kick in the 81st minute. When Stefan Meuleners came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the NK Goal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stefan Meuleners couldn't finish the play. Rouven Felgenhauer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Sören Nussli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sascha-Andreas Weites was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Harald Schräder capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Harald Schräder really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. After having played for 95 minutes, Marius Post managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SK Rapid Wien's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marius Post was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
