Spectators: 7771 (Terracing: 5829, Seating: 1787, VIP seats: 155) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nicolai Jani started the match with the kick off. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Rüdiger Kuster put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Joachim Henning. Philip Erbler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralf-Joachim Gütermann, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Rüdiger Kuster might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joachim Henning. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rüdiger Kuster ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rüdiger Kuster got free with Joachim Henning in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joachim Henning showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolai Jani in the 20th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Rüdiger Kuster got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nicolai Jani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joachim Henning having to interfere. 30 minutes into the game, Nicolai Jani recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Joachim Henning. Nicolai Jani showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Rüdiger Kuster managed to get in a good position for a shot. Copa Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Rüdiger Kuster was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joachim Henning breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Copa Juniors booed when FC Glan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steffen Sprenger didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Nicolai Jani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Patric Leßing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 43 minutes into the match, Copa Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Patric Leßing came free, but Philip Erbler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Ralf-Joachim Gütermann made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Copa Juniors's Jonas-Marius Mettgen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joachim Henning narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicolai Jani in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joachim Henning saved FC Glan from getting behind. FC Glan's Ralf-Joachim Gütermann got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rüdiger Kuster's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joachim Henning read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. In the 72nd minute of the match Volkmar Rübin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joachim Henning showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of FC Glan booed when Copa Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otto Kirchler didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute, Ralf-Joachim Gütermann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 79 minutes into the match, Copa Juniors's goalkeeper Philip Erbler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patric Leßing. Rüdiger Kuster received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Joachim Henning tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Copa Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Ralf-Joachim Gütermann came free, but Philip Erbler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Philip Erbler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ralf-Joachim Gütermann in the 86th minute of the match. If Nicolai Jani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joachim Henning made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rüdiger Kuster in the 97th minute of play. Copa Juniors were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Glan for a fine match.
