Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Michael Szüczs took the kick off in the first half of the match. Michael Szüczs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niko Kalleder having to interfere. Timo Vanek hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After 6 minutes, Rene Hennemann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Birgitz FC and the Grossing FSV players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Grossing FSV booed when Birgitz FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rene Hennemann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peter Wegl in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tristan Fontaine prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Peter Wegl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Tristan Fontaine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peter Wegl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tristan Fontaine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Wegl in the 13th minute of play. A collision led to Birgitz FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Michael Szüczs hit a great ball. Peter Wegl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Yanick Mörz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Michael Szüczs came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Birgitz FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michael Szüczs couldn't finish the play. 24 minutes into the match, Birgitz FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maximilian Wenn came free, but Tristan Fontaine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, Peter Wegl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Peter Wegl managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grossing FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Peter Wegl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tristan Fontaine breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tristan Fontaine didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pascal Bierhoff went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Peter Wegl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tristan Fontaine having to interfere. Peter Wegl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tristan Fontaine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximilian Wenn in the 44th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Timo Vanek left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Grossing FSV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Peter Wegl made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Szüczs in the 53rd minute of play forced Grossing FSV's goalkeeper Niko Kalleder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Grossing FSV booed when Birgitz FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Szüczs didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tristan Fontaine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Wegl in the 68th minute of play. Tristan Fontaine didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 73rd minute, which inside left pole to 0-4. With a little luck, Birgitz FC's Tristan Fontaine got control of the ball when Maximilian Wenn tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tristan Fontaine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Wegl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tristan Fontaine didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 80th minute, which inside left pole to 0-5. After 83 played minutes Birgitz FC got a freekick which was hit by Philipp Reuters. After having played for 87 minutes, Maximilian Wenn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grossing FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximilian Wenn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Birgitz FC's Michael Szüczs got a free kick in the 87th minute. If Peter Wegl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximilian Wenn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Birgitz FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Grossing FSV were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
