After a defensive mix-up in Grossing FSV's zone, Steve Jochum stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niko Kalleder came out of the goal and Steve Jochum tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Peter Wegl made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Peter Wegl managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grossing FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Peter Wegl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andre Thieme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 55 minutes, Peter Wegl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ruben Kaumanns blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Niko Kalleder having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peter Wegl in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andre Thieme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Voitsberg's zone, Maximilian Wenn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andre Thieme came out of the goal and Maximilian Wenn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maximilian Wenn's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Andre Thieme firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 94th match minute, Voitsberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mark-André Becker to maneuver through the defense. 99 minutes into the match, Voitsberg's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Wegl came free, but Andre Thieme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Voitsberg supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Grossing FSV's performance. The match ended with a win for Grossing FSV.
