Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jörg Braun got the match started through his kick off. Johannes Notthoff could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Michael Laufenberg made a huge save. After some careless play in the Neutal defense, Yannik Hipp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jörn Dorazil. The Neutal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jörn Dorazil should have stopped the shot. Jörn Dorazil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-André Noack, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jörg Braun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Laufenberg having to interfere. Yannik Hipp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The wind increased when Jan-André Noack made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Jörg Braun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Michael Laufenberg was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Michael Laufenberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Helge Christe's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Josef Junker's late challenge caught a Neutal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michael Laufenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jörg Braun, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Kittenberg's zone, Jörg Braun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michael Laufenberg came out of the goal and Jörg Braun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 87 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kittenberg! Michael Laufenberg had in the 89thth minute some difficulties stopping Christoph-Felix Kalt's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 90 minutes, Johannes Notthoff mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Neutal and the Kittenberg players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Kittenberg booed when Neutal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johannes Notthoff didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Josef Junker was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 92 minutes had been played. Josef Junker hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jörg Braun in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michael Laufenberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Neutal supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Kittenberg's performance. The match ended with a win for Kittenberg.
