With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nino Durry in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonard Busche saved Ausserbraz FSV from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Gerhard Schuhmacher managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ausserbraz FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerhard Schuhmacher was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Lange breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nino Durry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kevin Dohmen kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Christian Lange took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ralf-Joachim Dober, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Tobias Faust hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ralf-Joachim Dober's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christian Lange read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Leonard Busche stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nino Durry's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. After 32 minutes, Ralf-Joachim Dober made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Galatasaray's Christian Lange tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Nino Durry put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Leonard Busche. After a defensive mix-up in Galatasaray's zone, Ralf-Joachim Dober stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Lange came out of the goal and Ralf-Joachim Dober tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ausserbraz FSV's Ralf-Joachim Dober got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ralf-Joachim Dober made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Ausserbraz FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Nino Durry came free, but Leonard Busche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerhard Schuhmacher in the 55th minute of play forced Galatasaray's goalkeeper Christian Lange to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ausserbraz FSV's Leonard Busche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nino Durry in the 61st minute of play. Klaas Frohlich could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Leonard Busche made a huge save. Nino Durry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Leonard Busche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 66 played minutes Ausserbraz FSV got a freekick which was hit by Tom Krautmann. Klaas Frohlich's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Leonard Busche skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 80 minutes into the match, Ausserbraz FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Nino Durry came free, but Leonard Busche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ausserbraz FSV's Leonard Busche proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Ausserbraz FSV from getting a goal against them. If Nino Durry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerhard Schuhmacher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
