The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jörg Braun in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Phillip Scharf prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Naruto san getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Axel Hasselberg hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, Naruto san's goal looked a bit too open when Johannes Notthoff came free, but Phillip Scharf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Johannes Notthoff charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Johannes Notthoff the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 26 played minutes Neutal got a freekick which was hit by Johannes Notthoff. In the 28th minute Florian Eberts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jörn Dorazil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Phillip Scharf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Helge Christe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jörg Braun was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute, Helge Christe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Phillip Scharf made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Helge Christe sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Naruto san getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Axel Hasselberg hit a great ball. Helge Christe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Jörg Braun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan Mackenstein was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 71 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute there was a penalty for Neutal. Christoph-Felix Kalt stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Phillip Scharf. 0-2. Jörg Braun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Phillip Scharf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Phillip Scharf didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Helge Christe went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Jörg Braun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Phillip Scharf was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. In the 85th minute, Axel Hasselberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jörg Braun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phillip Scharf having to interfere. Jörg Braun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Phillip Scharf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Helge Christe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phillip Scharf having to interfere. The Naruto san fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Neutal were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
