Spectators: 6779 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1779, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ralf-Joachim Dober got the match started through his kick off. Gerhard Schuhmacher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Laufenberg having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerhard Schuhmacher in the 7th minute of play forced Kittenberg's goalkeeper Michael Laufenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ausserbraz FSV's Leonard Busche proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Ausserbraz FSV from getting a goal against them. After having played for 11 minutes, Gerhard Schuhmacher managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ausserbraz FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerhard Schuhmacher was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Kittenberg's Yannik Hipp sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonard Busche narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Yannik Hipp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kittenberg's supporters rose to their feet, but Yannik Hipp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonard Busche breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 15 played minutes Ausserbraz FSV got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Dohmen. Yannik Hipp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ralf-Joachim Dober in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michael Laufenberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jan-André Noack charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jan-André Noack the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jan-André Noack hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. If Ralf-Joachim Dober had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yannik Hipp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Leonard Busche made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerhard Schuhmacher in the 39th minute of play forced Kittenberg's goalkeeper Michael Laufenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michael Laufenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ralf-Joachim Dober, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kittenberg's Michael Laufenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ralf-Joachim Dober in the 45th minute of play. 50 minutes into the match, Ausserbraz FSV's goalkeeper Leonard Busche had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yannik Hipp. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jan-André Noack to make the kick off. Michael Laufenberg made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Gerhard Schuhmacher sent off a good shot on target. Michael Laufenberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ralf-Joachim Dober in the 69th minute of play. Leonard Busche stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yannik Hipp's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Ausserbraz FSV's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Björn-Torben Wilzek in the 91st minute. A nice corner shot did that Björn-Torben Wilzek got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Michael Laufenberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Ralf-Joachim Dober managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ausserbraz FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Ralf-Joachim Dober was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michael Laufenberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Ausserbraz FSV's Ralf-Joachim Dober slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Michael Laufenberg. That made the score 0-2 after 96 minutes of play. The Ausserbraz FSV supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ausserbraz FSV would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
