After having played for 13 minutes, Helge Christe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Neutal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Helge Christe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leonard Busche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jörg Braun in the 14th minute of play. Helge Christe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonard Busche having to interfere. Jörn Dorazil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ralf-Joachim Dober in the 26th minute of the match. Gerhard Schuhmacher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jörn Dorazil having to interfere. After having played for 31 minutes, Jörg Braun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Neutal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jörg Braun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Helge Christe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jörg Braun received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leonard Busche came out and tried to block the shot, but Jörg Braun slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 36th minute. Leonard Busche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jörg Braun, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Jörg Braun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jörg Braun made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jörg Braun in the 52nd minute of play forced Ausserbraz FSV's goalkeeper Leonard Busche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christoph-Felix Kalt's late challenge caught a Ausserbraz FSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christoph-Felix Kalt helped the player get up and apologised. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tom Krautmann got free with Jörn Dorazil in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Ausserbraz FSV booed when Neutal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthias Fehr didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 85 minutes of play, Neutal's Jörg Braun made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Helge Christe in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonard Busche saved Ausserbraz FSV from getting behind. There was no doubt that Neutal were the better team. Neutal's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
