Spectators: 6785 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1785, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Konstantin Böggemann kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Brennitz booed when Holzpoint was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florian Leers didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Florian Friz came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Brennitz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florian Friz couldn't finish the play. Tobi Bartek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Andreas Wittmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andreas Wittmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ansgar Dierking, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Holzpoint's goal looked a bit too open when Florian Friz came free, but Andreas Wittmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ansgar Dierking in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andreas Wittmann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Björn Werners took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Andreas Wittmann. Holzpoint's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tobi Bartek hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the game, Brennitz's Ansgar Dierking nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andreas Wittmann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Florian Friz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andreas Wittmann having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Florian Friz was the one to do the kick off. Marko Meinl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konstantin Böggemann, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Marko Meinl was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Konstantin Böggemann took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marko Meinl. Marko Meinl dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Wolf Schultz was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 77 minutes into the match. Holzpoint's Andreas Wittmann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Holzpoint from getting a goal against them. Ansgar Dierking sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ansgar Dierking came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Brennitz fans jumped to their feet. Konstantin Böggemann scored 4-1 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marko Meinl, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ansgar Dierking recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Holzpoint players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
