Fabian Schnell hit a great ball. Michael-Peter Michels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konstantin Böggemann in the 10th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Christopher Schmiedel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guido Zichmann's late challenge caught a Holzpoint's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guido Zichmann helped the player get up and apologised. A hard shot 18 in the game by Magnus Behn from a close distance when the talented Michael-Peter Michels managed to make a qualified save. Gaisrucken's players were relieved. In the 18th minute, Guido Zichmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Konstantin Böggemann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute, Jürgen Berger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Heiko Hofstetter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andreas Wittmann having to interfere. In the 28th minute, one of Holzpoint:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Holzpoint. Konstantin Böggemann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jürgen Berger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Andreas Wittmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Heiko Hofstetter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Holzpoint getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Lukas Pfeifenberger hit a great ball. After 47 played minutes Gaisrucken got a freekick which was hit by Guido Zichmann. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Heiko Hofstetter to strike the kick off in the second half. Heiko Hofstetter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Niclas Kahofer kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Heiko Hofstetter struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Andreas Wittmann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gaisrucken. 59 minutes into the match, Gaisrucken's goal looked a bit too open when Magnus Behn came free, but Michael-Peter Michels reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62ndth minute of the game Magnus Behn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gaisrucken's Michael-Peter Michels was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gaisrucken's Michael-Peter Michels played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konstantin Böggemann in the 64th minute of play. Michael-Peter Michels didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Konstantin Böggemann went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. When Jürgen Berger came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Gaisrucken fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jürgen Berger couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Konstantin Böggemann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Holzpoint's supporters rose to their feet, but Konstantin Böggemann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michael-Peter Michels breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 81st match minute, Gaisrucken was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jürgen Berger to maneuver through the defense. Magnus Behn struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Michael-Peter Michels didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Holzpoint. In the 90th minute, Konstantin Böggemann made a precise shot to the right of Michael-Peter Michels. Gaisrucken's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Holzpoint's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
