After a rather tough play, Oberhart FSV's Erik Haas got a free kick in the 17th minute. Alex Musser struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Tim Thum didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Dunkelbunt. A collision led to Oberhart FSV getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Manuel Gooß hit a great ball. Albert Schmitt took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tim Thum. Tim Thum dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philipp Mischo in the 26th minute of play forced Oberhart FSV's goalkeeper Tim Thum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute, Alex Musser made a precise shot to the right of Tim Thum. Oberhart FSV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Tim Thum didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alex Musser went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claus Weinand to strike the kick off in the second half. Jens Saßmannshausen charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. If Albert Schmitt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albert Schmitt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tim Thum made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Albert Schmitt sent off a good shot on target. Albert Schmitt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. After some careless play in the Oberhart FSV defense, Albert Schmitt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tim Thum. The Oberhart FSV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tim Thum should have stopped the shot. The Oberhart FSV fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Dunkelbunt were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
