But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Musser couldn't finish the play. If Albert Schmitt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Phillip Schneider showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Schmitt in the 24th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Albert Schmitt during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 35th match minute, FC Dunkelbunt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert Schmitt to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of FC Dunkelbunt booed when Fk Austria Wien was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven Gerhold didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

After 54 minutes, Alex Musser mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Dunkelbunt and the Fk Austria Wien players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Dunkelbunt's Alex Musser got a free kick in the 54th minute. Philipp Mischo hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After 75 played minutes Fk Austria Wien got a freekick which was hit by Jörg Spicker. Albert Schmitt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Phillip Schneider tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albert Schmitt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Albert Schmitt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Philipp Mischo took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Phillip Schneider. Phillip Schneider dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Yanick Bassen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Despite being the better team, FC Dunkelbunt failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
