Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Joachim Dober fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arne Behn having to interfere. With a little luck, Linz's Arne Behn got control of the ball when Joachim Dober tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arne Behn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ralf Spreitzer in the 7th minute of play. Joachim Dober's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 12thth minute, Arne Behn skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 13th minute, Joachim Dober hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ralf Spreitzer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Sven Espe fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Linz's protests and gave Sven Espe a yellow card for diving instead. After 22 played minutes Linz got a freekick which was hit by Sven Espe. 23 minutes into the match, Fc Revilo's Johannes Rasper broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Arne Behn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ralf Spreitzer's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Ralf Spreitzer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arne Behn having to interfere. Ralf Spreitzer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the match, Linz's goalkeeper Arne Behn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ralf Spreitzer. Thanks to some nice moves Joachim Dober could shoot a difficult shot in the 34th minute, which Arne Behn however easily saved by the left post. Arne Behn made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Joachim Dober sent off a good shot on target. 37 minutes into the match, Ralf Spreitzer dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arne Behn, 1-0. After 42 played minutes Fc Revilo got a freekick which was hit by Johannes Rasper. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Manuel Hauser managed to get in a good position for a shot. Linz's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Hauser was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mats Hänsel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andreas Plischke was the one to do the kick off. Joachim Dober received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Arne Behn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 52nd minute, Manuel Hauser hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 53 minutes of play, Fc Revilo's Joachim Dober made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arne Behn was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Erich Stieber came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Linz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erich Stieber couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joachim Dober in the 64th minute of play forced Linz's goalkeeper Arne Behn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Linz's goal looked a bit too open when Ralf Spreitzer came free, but Arne Behn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67thth minute of the game Joachim Dober who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Linz's Arne Behn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joachim Dober in the 70th minute of play forced Linz's goalkeeper Arne Behn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ralf Spreitzer took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arne Behn. Arne Behn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Michael-Jan Gaertner's late challenge caught a Fc Revilo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michael-Jan Gaertner helped the player get up and apologised. After 74 played minutes Linz got a freekick which was hit by Michael-Jan Gaertner. Arne Behn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joachim Dober went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. When Fc Revilo's Ralf Spreitzer in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Linz's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joachim Dober in the 94th minute of play forced Linz's goalkeeper Arne Behn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Fc Revilo were the better team. Fc Revilo's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
