The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the match, Neder's goal looked a bit too open when Dustin Haas came free, but Luca Wagner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th play minute Bernhardt Greshake came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Luca Wagner. 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Christian Dammers managed to get in a good position for a shot. Neder's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Dammers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Till Scherz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maurice  Gilde hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, Arzwiesen's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Dammers came free, but Till Scherz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neder's Luca Wagner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dustin Haas in the 24th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Neder's Christian Dammers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Till Scherz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Brandon Lojewski struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Till Scherz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Neder. Brandon Lojewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Till Scherz having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Christian Dammers fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 68th minute, Dustin Haas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luca Wagner was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Till Scherz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Dammers in the 72nd minute of the match. Brandon Lojewski's late challenge caught a Arzwiesen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brandon Lojewski helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Arzwiesen booed when Neder was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brandon Lojewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Till Scherz made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Brandon Lojewski sent off a good shot on target. Neder were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
