In the 15th minute Matthias Madel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lukas Grützmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Celtic Korneuburg booed when FTW1337 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank-Dieter Meier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan Aufhauser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lukas Grützmann having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Steve Daum got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pierre-André Aufhauser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 32 minutes, Justin Bruns managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FTW1337's supporters crossed their fingers, but Justin Bruns was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Justin Bruns fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre-André Aufhauser having to interfere. Johan Faigle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johan Faigle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Pierre-André Aufhauser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Matthias Madel to strike the kick off in the second half. FTW1337's Justin Bruns got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 62 minutes, Hendrik Mittner mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Celtic Korneuburg and the FTW1337 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 62nd minute, Hendrik Mittner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, FTW1337's Pierre-André Aufhauser threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Johan Faigle, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. FTW1337's Lukas Grützmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Aufhauser in the 69th minute of play. Lukas Grützmann came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Celtic Korneuburg's Matthias Madel. But to his dismay, Matthias Madel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. A collision led to FTW1337 getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Christopher Wesseler hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the game, Matthias Madel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Lukas Grützmann was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 83rd minute, Jan Aufhauser left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Celtic Korneuburg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. If Johan Faigle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute.
