Olli Lainer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Jan-Hauke Heesen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jan-Hauke Heesen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olli Lainer in the 9th minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, Hans-Georg Brohm was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nadelburg FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rasdorf the free kick. 14 minutes into the match, Rasdorf's Sebastian Kuefer broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Herbert Kulovitz struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Jan-Hauke Heesen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nadelburg FSV. Olli Lainer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jan-Hauke Heesen came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Nadelburg FSV's Olli Lainer. But to his dismay, Olli Lainer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rasdorf fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 38th minute. Penalty! Rasdorf:s Jan-Hauke Heesen showed great skill when he stopped Marco Singer:s penalty. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Matthias Blaschke took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Bernhard Schweer to make any attempt to save it. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thorben Handtke to strike the kick off in the second half. Olli Lainer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernhard Schweer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thorben Handtke, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 64th minute, Karsten Grabner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute of the match Sebastian Kuefer sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bernhard Schweer skillfully saved the ball. Olli Lainer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan-Hauke Heesen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Herbert Kulovitz got free with Jan-Hauke Heesen in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 81 minutes, Yannic Zingler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rasdorf's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yannic Zingler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute Olli Lainer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Hauke Heesen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernhard Schweer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thorben Handtke in the 91st minute of the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
