After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Karl-Heinz Marquardt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saak FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl-Heinz Marquardt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jochen Schikorra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Karl-Heinz Marquardt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jochen Schikorra having to interfere. Jochen Schikorra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Heinz Marquardt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Saak FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
