Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dynamo Trulll's Adrian Henn started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Andreas Kasig fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dynamo Trulll's protests and gave Andreas Kasig a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th match minute, Dynamo Trulll was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andreas Kasig to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Dynamo Trulll getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Sandro Jennemann hit a great ball. Cruz Grande's Thorsten Terstappen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandro Jennemann in the 8th minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, Lars Jäger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dynamo Trulll's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cruz Grande the free kick. After 10 played minutes Dynamo Trulll got a freekick which was hit by Lars Jäger. The long shot by Jannick Nussli in the 11th minute really tested Steffen Mihrmeister's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Adrian Henn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 21 played minutes Cruz Grande got a freekick which was hit by Axel Otters. After a rather tough play, Dynamo Trulll's Adrian Henn got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Sandro Jennemann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 28 minutes into the match, Cruz Grande's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Henn came free, but Thorsten Terstappen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dominik Fontaine got free with Steffen Mihrmeister in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 35 minutes into the game, Adrian Henn cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Thorsten Terstappen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Dominik Fontaine came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Cruz Grande fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dominik Fontaine couldn't finish the play. In the 44th minute Sandro Jennemann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thorsten Terstappen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Dynamo Trulll's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Björn Eiterer fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 51st minute, Adrian Henn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cruz Grande's Thorsten Terstappen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Henn in the 54th minute of play. Thorsten Terstappen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Henn, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Sandro Jennemann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Thorsten Terstappen made a huge save. Sandro Jennemann struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Thorsten Terstappen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dynamo Trulll. Björn Eiterer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the match, Dynamo Trulll's goal looked a bit too open when Dominik Fontaine came free, but Steffen Mihrmeister reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 1-1 became the score in the 80th minute when Björn Eiterer elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 84th match minute, Dynamo Trulll was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andreas Kasig to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Cruz Grande's zone, Sandro Jennemann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thorsten Terstappen came out of the goal and Sandro Jennemann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 94th minute, Dominik Fontaine made a precise shot to the right of Steffen Mihrmeister. Dynamo Trulll's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Cruz Grande's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
