Seating: 1781, VIP seats: 0) Mario Heidrich made the kick off and thus started the match. After having played for 2 minutes, René Juhr managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FK Austria's supporters crossed their fingers, but René Juhr was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robert Horneber in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vincent Gensel saved Strobitz FSV from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Fabian Ivanschitz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Michel Bickert. That made the score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. Mario Heidrich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Bickert having to interfere. Peter Harand lost his temper 20 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 19th minute, one of FK Austria:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FK Austria. With an all-out effort, Strobitz FSV's Michel Bickert threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mario Heidrich, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 33 minutes into the game, Bernhard Wille was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Strobitz FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FK Austria the free kick. In the 34th minute of the match Robert Fritschken shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vincent Gensel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Nikolaus Schweiger, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 39 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Vincent Gensel was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Uli Waidler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Michel Bickert made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrick Wittmann in the 47th minute of play forced FK Austria's goalkeeper Michel Bickert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when René Juhr stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Mario Heidrich came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Strobitz FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Heidrich couldn't finish the play. Strobitz FSV's Mario Heidrich got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Uli Waidler sped through FK Austria's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Michel Bickert. Nikolaus Schweiger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Vincent Gensel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute Uli Waidler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michel Bickert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. René Juhr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the game, Strobitz FSV's Mario Heidrich nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Michel Bickert made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Strobitz FSV's Vincent Gensel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Strobitz FSV from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Heidrich in the 80th minute of play forced FK Austria's goalkeeper Michel Bickert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. René Juhr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. René Juhr succeeded in the game's 87th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-2. In the 92nd match minute, FK Austria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Horneber to maneuver through the defense. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Strobitz FSV were victorious despite being under pressure from FK Austria for much of the match.
