Stefan Yuschni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Kiepsch having to interfere. Christian Franiel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulrich Bade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Stefan Yuschni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Stefan Yuschni came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the FC Barcelona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stefan Yuschni couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Staw Kaska Mikolow's Andy Schuhmacher got a free kick in the 24th minute. The supporters of Staw Kaska Mikolow booed when FC Barcelona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thorben Püllen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Oscar Mayrhofer made the kick off in the second half. Thomas Kiepsch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Yuschni in the 56th minute of the match. Stefan Yuschni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Stefan Yuschni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dirk Dziub received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Thomas Kiepsch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thomas Kiepsch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Yuschni in the 66th minute of play. Christian Franiel was a little too slow when Oscar Mayrhofer got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 0-1. In the 77th match minute, Staw Kaska Mikolow was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steven Reinoehl to maneuver through the defense. Thomas Kiepsch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Yuschni in the 80th minute of play. Ulrich Bade could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Christian Franiel made a huge save. After a rather tough play, FC Barcelona's Steffen-Julian Buck got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 88th minute of the match Staw Kaska Mikolow got a corner. FC Barcelona's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Robert Drewniak ran over to the corner to take the kick. Robert Drewniak made a great header on Staw Kaska Mikolow's corner, it was just that FC Barcelona's Christian Franiel managed to reach the ball for a save.
