After a defensive mix-up in Loibichl FC's zone, Dirk Dziub stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Steffen Hörbelt came out of the goal and Dirk Dziub tried to chip the ball over his head. After the first half FC Barcelona were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stefan Yuschni made a kick off. Axel Oster sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 61 played minutes Loibichl FC got a freekick which was hit by Sven Verpoort. Christian Franiel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andreas Wennemer, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Stefan Yuschni struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Steffen Hörbelt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Wennemer in the 79th minute of play forced FC Barcelona's goalkeeper Christian Franiel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Stefan Yuschni fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Steffen Hörbelt, passed just outside the right post. FC Barcelona's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
