The audience thought a goal was coming when René Juhr got free with Steffen Hörbelt in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 28 minutes into the match, Loibichl FC's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Horneber came free, but Steffen Hörbelt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michel Bickert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Oster, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the game, Loibichl FC's Andreas Wennemer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erich Vanik was shown his second yellow card after 75 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 76th match minute, Loibichl FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erich Vanik to maneuver through the defense. Nikolaus Schweiger hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andreas Wennemer in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michel Bickert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Loibichl FC's Axel Oster got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 94 minutes into the match, Robert Horneber notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Loibichl FC's Steffen Hörbelt. Steffen Hörbelt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
