Uwe Plappert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Joachim Schnell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobi Lörsch in the 30th minute of play forced Usakspor's goalkeeper Uwe Plappert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Uwe Plappert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobi Lörsch in the 34th minute of play. If Lars Wolff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. Usakspor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oberprambach the free kick. In the 45th match minute, Usakspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens Traintinger to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Karsten Juniel to strike the kick off in the second half. Uwe Plappert didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 52nd minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. The audience held their breath when Steffen Öllerich-Dawe in the 69th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Claas Unterligauer's left hand side. 71 minutes into the game, Cedric Ratzel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Usakspor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oberprambach the free kick. If Tobi Lörsch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. A very good chance for a goal. 80 minutes into the match, Usakspor's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Priebsch came free, but Uwe Plappert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
