Spectators: 6773 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1773, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Simon Tiesse took the kick off in the first half of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Newcastle United's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Schnoor came free, but Plamen Pashkulev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Lars Wolff came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Usakspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lars Wolff couldn't finish the play. Plamen Pashkulev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Schnoor in the 12th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Peter Schnoor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Usakspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Peter Schnoor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Plamen Pashkulev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 19th match minute, Newcastle United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danny Mairitsch to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute, Lars Wolff ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Plamen Pashkulev was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Plamen Pashkulev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lars Wolff in the 31st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Usakspor's zone, Rouven Horsky stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Uwe Plappert came out of the goal and Rouven Horsky tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Plamen Pashkulev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Schnoor in the 38th minute of play. When Usakspor's Lars Wolff in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Newcastle United's goalie prevented a goal. Roch Bentkowski hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Lars Wolff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Plamen Pashkulev having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Peter Schnoor to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Newcastle United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roch Bentkowski to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute, Peter Schnoor made a precise shot to the right of Plamen Pashkulev. Newcastle United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 57th minute Lars Wolff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Plamen Pashkulev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 58 played minutes Newcastle United got a freekick which was hit by Roch Bentkowski. In the 60thth minute of the game Peter Schnoor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Newcastle United's Plamen Pashkulev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Newcastle United were furious when Klaudius Feldhofer was red carded, 61 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Newcastle United:s Plamen Pashkulev showed great skill when he stopped Steffen Öllerich-Dawe:s penalty. In the 64th minute, Steffen Öllerich-Dawe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Plamen Pashkulev was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joachim Schnell in the 67th minute of play forced Newcastle United's goalkeeper Plamen Pashkulev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute, Roch Bentkowski reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Uwe Plappert. The goal made the score 3-1. Lars Wolff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peter Weyers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Uwe Plappert made a huge save. A collision led to Newcastle United getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Roch Bentkowski hit a great ball. After 81 played minutes, Usakspor's Jens Traintinger shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Plamen Pashkulev came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Usakspor reached it. Simon Tiesse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uwe Plappert having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Usakspor's zone, Peter Weyers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Uwe Plappert came out of the goal and Peter Weyers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 89th minute Lars Wolff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Plamen Pashkulev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lars Wolff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Plamen Pashkulev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 91 minutes, Roch Bentkowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Newcastle United and the Usakspor players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Newcastle United's Roch Bentkowski got a free kick in the 91st minute. Plamen Pashkulev came out of the goal in the 98th minute to try and stop a shot by Usakspor's Lars Wolff. But to his dismay, Lars Wolff quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. When the referee ended the match the Usakspor players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
