Uberfuhr's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roland Muller was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 16th match minute, FC Elfenhain was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans-Joachim Stolzenberg to maneuver through the defense. Julian Lüger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark-André Uken in the 19th minute of the match. Cedric Bauer came free with the goalkeeper in the 21st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Axel Römer could save by the left post. Cedric Bauer in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Axel Römer, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 23rd minute Cedric Bauer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Axel Römer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Cedric Bauer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Axel Römer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cai Yi Shu got free with Axel Römer in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Axel Römer managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when FC Elfenhain's Cedric Bauer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cedric Bauer in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Axel Römer saved Uberfuhr from getting behind. When Mark-André Uken came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Uberfuhr fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mark-André Uken couldn't finish the play. Uberfuhr's Axel Römer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Uberfuhr from getting a goal against them. Thomas Austerer lost his temper 41 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 41 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Uberfuhr! After a defensive mix-up in FC Elfenhain's zone, Roland Muller stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julian Lüger came out of the goal and Roland Muller tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Uberfuhr's Achim Manninger got a free kick in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

52 minutes into the match, FC Elfenhain's Hans-Joachim Stolzenberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Axel Römer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cedric Bauer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 58th minute, Cedric Bauer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Elfenhain fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Axel Römer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yannik Nowotny, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cai Yi Shu took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Axel Römer. Axel Römer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. 93 minutes into the match, Uberfuhr's goal looked a bit too open when Cedric Bauer came free, but Axel Römer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cai Yi Shu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Axel Römer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Elfenhain walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
