If Marc-André Schollenberger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sergio Eberl during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 7th match minute, Manchester United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergio Eberl to maneuver through the defense. Benjamin Köffers acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 8th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Walter Sudhoff. Nils Fydrich hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Manchester United's Benjamin Köffers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliver Nielsen in the 10th minute of play. Oliver Nielsen might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benjamin Köffers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oliver Nielsen ran back to his position shaking his head. With an all-out effort, Aslansaray's Benjamin Köffers threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Björn Töller, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Nils Fydrich hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, Walter Sudhoff sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Manchester United's Benjamin Köffers didn't even have to move. If Marc-André Schollenberger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Aslansaray fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Aslansaray's Oliver Nielsen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Oliver Nielsen struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Benjamin Köffers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aslansaray. A collision led to Aslansaray getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Wolfram Schlender hit a great ball. Marc-André Schollenberger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Benjamin Köffers made a huge save. 40 minutes into the match, Aslansaray's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis-Maurice Odenthal came free, but Peer Mauermann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marc-André Schollenberger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peer Mauermann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dennis-Maurice Odenthal, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After some careless play in the Manchester United defense, Marc-André Schollenberger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benjamin Köffers. The Manchester United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benjamin Köffers should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Marc-André Schollenberger scored 3-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benjamin Köffers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Felix Rust fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peer Mauermann having to interfere. Peer Mauermann made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Dennis-Maurice Odenthal sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rafael Ningel during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 72nd match minute, Manchester United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Rust to maneuver through the defense. Benjamin Köffers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nico Matthies in the 74th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Nico Matthies hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 82 minutes, Felix Rust managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manchester United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Rust was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute Felix Rust shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peer Mauermann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucas Heilleck during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Manchester United booed when Aslansaray was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Heilleck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nils Fydrich took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Peer Mauermann. Aslansaray's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 93rd minute of the game. One of Manchester United:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Aslansaray:s goal. In the 96th minute there was a penalty for Aslansaray. Walter Sudhoff stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Benjamin Köffers. 4-0. Sergio Eberl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 101st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Aslansaray were the better team. Aslansaray's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
