An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Pircher in the 4th minute of play forced Bucs's goalkeeper Jochen Hinterstocker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 4th match minute, Bucs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Dötsch to maneuver through the defense. Karl Ivanschitz struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Willi Keck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bucs. 11 minutes into the game, Bucs's Martin Wennemer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Willi Keck made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Michael Pircher came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the FC KAPPA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michael Pircher couldn't finish the play. Björn-Torben Geissler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Michael Pircher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jochen Hinterstocker having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Michael Pircher kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jochen Hinterstocker. That made the score 1-1 in the 22 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Björn-Torben Geissler managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC KAPPA's supporters rose to their feet, but Björn-Torben Geissler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jochen Hinterstocker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Michael Pircher took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jochen Hinterstocker. Jochen Hinterstocker dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The audience was convinced that Michael Pircher's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jochen Hinterstocker was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. When Michael Pircher came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the FC KAPPA fans jumped to their feet. Gerrit-Alexander Faber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jochen Hinterstocker having to interfere. Despite this Jochen Hinterstocker quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 82 minutes into the match, FC KAPPA's goalkeeper Willi Keck had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karl Ivanschitz. Björn-Torben Geissler blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jochen Hinterstocker having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl Ivanschitz got free with Willi Keck in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michael Pircher during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 91 played minutes FC KAPPA got a freekick which was hit by Michael Pircher. In the 95th match minute, FC KAPPA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerrit-Alexander Faber to maneuver through the defense. 96 minutes into the game, Gerrit-Alexander Faber was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC KAPPA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bucs the free kick. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC KAPPA fully deserved thier win.
