Gerrit-Alexander Rewer might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Johannes Yuschni. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gerrit-Alexander Rewer ran back to his position shaking his head. The Becs fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Becs's Gerrit-Alexander Rewer looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 17 minutes, Torben Bruhnke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Becs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torben Bruhnke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 17 played minutes Becs got a freekick which was hit by Sascha Seiffert. Alexander Wellnitz came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Garsten's Boris Plum. But to his dismay, Boris Plum quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. When FC Garsten's Helge Wengenroth in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Becs's goalie prevented a goal. In the 28th minute, Marcel Welser ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alexander Wellnitz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. With a little luck, Becs's Alexander Wellnitz got control of the ball when Marcel Welser tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gerrit-Alexander Rewer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Johannes Yuschni read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Marcel Welser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexander Wellnitz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcel Welser went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Alexander Wellnitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boris Plum in the 70th minute of play. Boris Katzer lost his temper 80 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 79th minute of the game. One of FC Garsten:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Becs:s goal. Alexander Wellnitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Welser, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcel Welser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexander Busch hit a great freekick 101 minutes into the match. Enno Schwarzer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 102nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alexander Wellnitz. Becs's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. FC Garsten's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
