After 23 minutes of play, Ulmich's Marco Bohm made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jochen Uschok was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Daniel Mandl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Roman Jani's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jochen Uschok was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. When Adam Sippel fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Waitzendorf FC's protests and gave Adam Sippel a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 38th minute of the game. One of Waitzendorf FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ulmich:s goal. Nickolas Lohn placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Mandl during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lars Wolter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jochen Uschok having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marco Bohm made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Ulmich's Tommy Bade got a free kick in the 54th minute. After some careless play in the Ulmich defense, Adam Holstein kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tobias Dziersan. The Ulmich fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tobias Dziersan should have stopped the shot. After 61 minutes, Roman Jani made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Waitzendorf FC's Jochen Uschok tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 65th minute, Waitzendorf FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lars Wolter fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Roman Jani put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Jochen Uschok. Jochen Uschok showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Bohm, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roman Jani in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jochen Uschok prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pascal Kardell's late challenge caught a Waitzendorf FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pascal Kardell helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ulmich getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Pascal Kardell hit a great ball. Marko Grabner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Dziersan having to interfere. Ulmich's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
