Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) FC Barcelona's Josef Mende proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save FC Barcelona from getting a goal against them. When Frederik Grabner fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Barcelona's protests and gave Frederik Grabner a yellow card for diving instead. Frederik Grabner kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Josef Mende made an important save on a dangerous shot by Torsten Diekneite in the 6th minute. FC Barcelona's Michael Bader got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sebastian Hensel took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Josef Mende. Josef Mende dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olli Grassow in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andreas Kühbauer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lutz Marke during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Wollsdorf booed when FC Barcelona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lutz Marke didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Torsten Diekneite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, Randy Welser reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Josef Mende. The goal made the score 2-0. 37 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona's goalkeeper Josef Mende had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Torsten Diekneite. With 39 minutes on the clock, Frederik Grabner commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee gave Wollsdorf a penalty, 42 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Moritz Aus den Birken, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Barcelona's Josef Mende. 3-0. Michael Bader scored 3-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andreas Kühbauer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 60 minutes of play, Wollsdorf's Randy Welser made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Josef Mende was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC Barcelona's Josef Mende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torsten Diekneite in the 67th minute of play. In the 70th match minute, FC Barcelona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olli Grassow to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torsten Diekneite in the 74th minute of play forced FC Barcelona's goalkeeper Josef Mende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Torsten Diekneite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Björn Kreusch hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Josef Mende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torsten Diekneite in the 82nd minute of the match. After 85 played minutes FC Barcelona got a freekick which was hit by Elias Beyersdorf. In the 88th minute Jürgen Hänsel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josef Mende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona's goal looked a bit too open when Randy Welser came free, but Josef Mende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Randy Welser ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Josef Mende was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. FC Barcelona's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
