Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Stephan-Andreas Dreher started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Artur Gieß hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 3rd minute, Kurt Peternell sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Draugegend's Niels Kalweit didn't even have to move. Stephan-Andreas Dreher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Julius Seidenfad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peter Gerken got free with Niels Kalweit in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stephan-Andreas Dreher in the 12th minute of play forced Papaja FC's goalkeeper Julius Seidenfad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Draugegend's Niels Kalweit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jakob Bialke in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th match minute, Draugegend was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximilian-Michael Kahofer to maneuver through the defense. Julius Seidenfad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stephan-Andreas Dreher, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Stephan-Andreas Dreher recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th match minute, Papaja FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henk Alt to maneuver through the defense. Peter Gerken could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Niels Kalweit made a huge save. After having played for 40 minutes, Jakob Bialke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Papaja FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jakob Bialke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 42 minutes into the match, Draugegend's goalkeeper Niels Kalweit had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan-Moritz Zerbe. In the 44th minute, Mattias Vogel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th match minute, Papaja FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mattias Vogel to maneuver through the defense.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jakob Bialke made a kick off. Stephan-Andreas Dreher succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 56th playminute. Stephan-Andreas Dreher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Stephan-Andreas Dreher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 77th minute Lennart Kahofer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julius Seidenfad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jakob Bialke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Niels Kalweit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lennart Kahofer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute Jakob Bialke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niels Kalweit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Draugegend defense, Jakob Bialke kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Niels Kalweit. The Draugegend fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Niels Kalweit should have stopped the shot. 98 minutes into the game, Kurt Peternell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Papaja FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Draugegend the free kick.
