After 4 played minutes, Zofing FC's Hugo Schikorra shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tim Göhring came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Zofing FC reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Viehlehen's zone, Michael Köhler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tim Göhring came out of the goal and Michael Köhler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Peter Braun kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Tim Göhring acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 14th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Steve Egger. In the 22nd minute Michael Köhler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tim Göhring saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 25 minutes of play, Zofing FC's Simon Kahofer made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tim Göhring was left in no man's land by his defense there! Andreas Meier scored 1-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thomas Gatzke, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After recieving a nice pass, Viehlehen's Philipp Vester tried to score from far away in the 33rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Thomas Gatzke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerrit-Alexander Meisl in the 35th minute of the match. Torben Thomanek's late challenge caught a Zofing FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Torben Thomanek helped the player get up and apologised. After 38 played minutes Viehlehen got a freekick which was hit by Torben Thomanek. Gerrit-Alexander Meisl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Gatzke having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerrit-Alexander Meisl in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thomas Gatzke prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Michael Köhler stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Philipp Vester fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Viehlehen's protests and gave Philipp Vester a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Viehlehen fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Zofing FC a penalty, 55 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Steve Egger, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Viehlehen's Tim Göhring. 2-1. After a rather tough play, Zofing FC's Florian Klich got a free kick in the 60th minute. Gerrit-Alexander Meisl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Zofing FC's zone, Gerrit-Alexander Meisl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thomas Gatzke came out of the goal and Gerrit-Alexander Meisl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gerrit-Alexander Meisl struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Thomas Gatzke didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Viehlehen. 70 minutes into the match, Zofing FC's goalkeeper Thomas Gatzke had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerrit-Alexander Meisl. Thomas Gatzke made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerrit-Alexander Meisl in the 71st minute. A collision led to Viehlehen getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Peter Braun hit a great ball. After 80 minutes, Michael Köhler made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Viehlehen's Tim Göhring tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Tim Göhring made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Kahofer in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Roland Niedrist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tim Göhring made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florian Klich in the 90th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Simon Kahofer in the 99th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tim Göhring saved Viehlehen from getting behind. For all the effort they put into the match, the Viehlehen players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Zofing FC.
